Some brief thoughts on the San Bernardino shooting and all the others we've endured:
- Ethnicity of the shooters is irrelevant - more innocent lives were lost. That's what matters.
- Religious beliefs of the shooters is irrelevant. A select minority of people across the faith spectrum are violent killers.
- If there's a mass killing, why are we reluctant to use the 'T' word? Terrorism can be domestic too. And perpetrated by Causcasian males.
- I still wonder: why are semi-automatic guns 'necessary' for self-defense, as gun advocates claim?
All for now. Deepest sympathy and condolences to more grieving families and friends.
