Hey there, thanks for stopping by. Here are the deets:
I'm an award-winning producer / director / writer currently on three projects. I'm on contract for Logitech as in-house executive video producer, I'm producing / hosting an audio podcast on the craft & community of writing and storytelling, Story Geometry, and I've pulled a work-in-progress novel from deep freeze and enjoying bringing my characters back to life after a long hiatus.
I've had the great fortune to work domestically and globally on hundreds of promotional videos, documentaries, commercials, podcasts, and PSAs either under my Bay Area Pictures banner or with other leading agencies and production companies. I've also produced several independent films, original series, audio stories, and campaigns including documentaries Volunteer Nation and Voices Across America, and five narrative short films: Raising the TXT Generation, The Kiss, and House of Cups and the award winning Doing Time and Fallen Peaches. My short fiction and essays have appeared online with Humanthology, Medium, my Out of Order blog, and the HEAR Now Audio Festival.
How did all of this happen? After growing up and playing football in the South, I headed to the Midwest, Washington University in St. Louis, where I collided worlds by majoring in drama and playing middle linebacker. No, neither of those groups knew what to make of the other. I went on to study Acting in the MFA Program at CalArts in Los Angeles and appeared in 25 theatre productions, a pretty bad indie horror film, and then several commercials as a member of SAG. I like to believe this eclectic academic and geographic background have served me well for the varied methods of storytelling available to us today.
